Kyleakin is the old ferry port that lies just west of the Kyle of Lochalsh across the Skye Bridge, (which no longer requires any toll to be paid). Just take the first left turn after crossing the Skye Bridge. Access is by road. buses run regularly from Inverness & Fort William or by take the wonderful train journey from Inverness terminating at Kyle of Lochalsh and cross the Skye Bridge.
